Database Server
Database server in this enterprise is used to store data in central location in central building of the company. To grant access for every user that has right for interaction with the database server for example insert, update, or delete data, the network administrator must register which user can access it. The authentication of each user in the database server is not integrated with active directory in the server. The user login and the database that can be accessed by user is saved in the MySQL. To configure database server connection, we must perform the following task:
1. After installation and create Bookstore database in Server, to configure user and grant access into database Bookstore, the first steps is we must login as root to register user with destination is Computer Server, open MySQL Administrator 1.1.9 >> in Server Host insert Domain Name where location of the database in a place, or we can insert IP Address of server. Then write root in username and also the password like the following picture:
2. After successful login in the as root, the second step is register user that you to grant access into database Bookstore, click User Administration, after that in User Information Tab you can insert MySQL User for example “nandar”, insert password for this and another user information.
3. After that click Schema Privileges Tab, in the Schemata choose the database you want to grant access for this user for example “BookStore”, and you can choose privileges which one do you grant access for this user to check the connection if we want to insert, update or delete data in the database, whether the data was inserted or not. The click Apply Changes button to save the configuration.
