1. Domain Name Server (DNS)
DNS is an application services on the Internet that translates a
domain name to IP address to provide name server especially for server computer. In the windows server 2003 the DNS system is depend on Active Directory. Active Directory is a directory service where all information stored such as user, group, hardware and software or all network resources and security policy in one central database. The main function of the Active Directory is a tools to prepare network administration in central server.

2. File Transfer Protocol (FTP)
File Transfer Protocol (FTP) is a protocol that serves to exchange files in a network supporting the TCP / IP protocol. There are two types of server computers that can be contacted with the facilities FTP, namely:

a) Anonymous FTP Server or can be also called Public FTP server. The server computer is accessible and open to all internets. Files in this server can be downloaded for free. To use this the user Anonymous FTP enter Anonymous login with the username and password used as an address or e-mail can also use username guest with no password, this depends on the destination server FTP.

b) Private FTP Server, Server computer is only accessible and
used by a user who is registered officially. The server usually contains personal information and data specifically used for a particular user or a particular company. Users usually have a special username and password to be connected to the server type. A server that provides FTP facilities can easily identified, usually an FTP server will have the site address sub domains with FTP, for example, to provide domain gramediaku.com

3. Web Server
Web server is the backbone of a world wide web (www). Web server waiting from a client request that use the browser such as Netscape Navigator, Internet Explorer, Mozilla, browser and other programs. If there is a request from a browser, the web server will process the request then the process returns in data form back to the desired browser.

Web server, to communicate with its client (web browser) has protocol itself that is HTTP (hypertext protocol transfer). With this protocol, communication between the web servers to the client is able to understand each other and more easy. The process that started from a request web client (browser), received a web server, processed, and process the results returned by the web server to web client again carried out transparently. Each person can easily to find out what is occurred in each process. In general the web servers process all obtaining feedback from the web client.

4. Database Server
Database server is a program that served the request database query from the client or user in the enterprise. The client request to database server and then processed in the server to can manage the data as central. The enterprise using MySQL to store data in the server. MySQL is a free relational database server under GNU (General Public License) License and Open Source programs its mean that the user can modify the source code to fulfill self requirement.

5. Mail Server
Mail server is a service that gives support mail service for user or employee to send or receive mail from one user to another user in an enterprise or organization. In mail server we know there are two protocol which often used, that are: POP3 (Post Office Protocol version 3), is a protocol used to retrieve the electronic mail (email) from the email server. POP3 protocol is created for the design of the electronic mail system that requires the server to accommodate the electronic mail letter electronic for a while until the mail is retrieved by the recipient is have the right. SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) is one of the commonly used protocols for sending electronic mail on the Internet. This protocol is used to transmit data from computer sender to mail server recipient.
